Our chalets in the Veluwe

Since February 2025, we have proudly been the owners of Birdsong Cottage, our cosy and charming chalet in Putten in the Veluwe. This comfortable holiday home in Putten is located on a quiet holiday park surrounded by nature and immediately feels warm and welcoming. Inside you experience comfort and relaxation, while outside you can enjoy the garden, the sound of the trees and birds, and occasionally even spot a squirrel passing by. For wellness lovers, this is an ideal location, as Sauna Drôme Putten is within walking distance. A perfect place to completely unwind in the heart of the Veluwe.

Since March 2026, we have also been the proud owners of Chalet De Rode Vos at Vakantiepark De IJsvogel in Voorthuizen. This comfortable chalet in Voorthuizen in the Veluwe is situated in a quiet area of the park and offers a private garden with plenty of space to relax. The holiday park provides excellent facilities for the whole family, including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, playgrounds, a football cage, kids club during school holidays, spa, restaurant, park shop and bicycle rental. Here you combine relaxation with fun and activities for all ages.

Hi, I’m Gerda. Together with my husband Omer and our three children, we live in Rotterdam, just over an hour from the Veluwe. As a family, we love spending time in nature. Stepping away from the busy city, breathing fresh air, walking through the forest and simply enjoying time together.

What started with one special place surrounded by greenery grew into two chalets that we care for with love and attention. Not as distant landlords, but as involved owners who truly want our guests to feel welcome and at home.

Hi, I’m Gerda. Together with my husband Omer and our three children, we live in Rotterdam, just over an hour from the Veluwe. As a family, we love spending time in nature. Stepping away from the busy city, breathing fresh air, walking through the forest and simply enjoying time together.

What started with one special place surrounded by greenery grew into two chalets that we care for with love and attention. Not as distant landlords, but as involved owners who truly want our guests to feel welcome and at home.

For us, the Veluwe is a place where you can truly relax, spend time outdoors and recharge. Waking up to birds singing, going for long walks and sitting outside together in the evening. That simple feeling of peace and space is what we hope to share with our guests.

With our two chalets, we deliberately offer two different atmospheres. One location focuses on peace and nature, the other on comfort and facilities for families. This way, you can choose what suits you best.

We rent out our chalets the way we would like to find them ourselves: clean, cosy and thoughtfully furnished. No large organisation, just a personal and welcoming place to stay.

Through our social media, we regularly share tips about activities, restaurants, wellness and things to do in the area, so you can make the most of your stay in the Veluwe.
